From Field to Farmhouse Flavour
Since 1967, Wicks Manor has been a proud family-run farm nestled in the Essex countryside. Now operated by the second and third generations of the Howie family, the farm is rooted in tradition, quality, and care for the land and animals.
What makes Wicks Manor truly unique is our full farm-to-fork approach. We grow and mill our own wheat and barley to feed our pigs, which are born and raised on the farm. From there, every step from rearing, butchery, curing, and smoking is done on-site. This means complete traceability and quality control from start to finish.
Animal welfare is central to everything we do. Our pigs are raised in open, straw-bedded yards, allowing them to express natural behaviours and live stress-free lives. This high standard of care directly contributes to the exceptional taste and texture of our pork.
