ALJOMAR

SPANISH TRADITION,

GLOBAL RECOGNITION

Aljomar started in 1969 when Alfonso Sánchez and his wife Carmen opened their first Iberico shop, "La Salmantina", in Seville's Triana district. Their passion for top-quality ham led to the opening of a dedicated manufacturing plant in  1992—marking the official birth of Aljomar.

In 1997, the family expanded into farming by acquiring the Vera Vieja estate in Badajoz, raising purebred Iberico pigs on acorns, grass, and grains grown on-site. By 2008, Aljomar completed its fully integrated production cycle with the El Navazo slaughterhouse—a 64,000 m², EU-standard facility enabling export to major global market.
